We have a tie!

Both of these films gained the most votes from our viewers. The submitters/directors of A Cure for Kyle and Skin Baby will both be provided a laurel as the Down East Flick Fest Viewer’s Choice  Award Winners. Both are eligible for a fee waiver to one DEFF film festival that must be redeemed with two years, plus one screening vent that must be held within 12 months from July 21, 2018.

What’s the cure for a broken heart? Kyle has always believed in “the dream,” success in business, having a family and most of all he’s a hopeless romantic. While his business is thriving and also succeeding at being a SINGLE FATHER, his love life is failing tremendously. His daughter Kylie loves her dad and notices his recent sadness. Eager to team up with Grandma Grace to find her dad the perfect woman, they stop at nothing to fill the void. With Kylie’s biological mother’s abandonment Kyle seeks therapy, hoping to find a cure.
