Welcome to the 10th Anniversary of Down East Flick Fest! As we celebrate a decade of cinematic storytelling, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the talented filmmakers who have inspired us year after year. This festival is a tribute to your creativity, passion, and perseverance. You are the heartbeat of DEFF, and your stories have brought us together, illuminating the power of film to connect, transform, and inspire.
As we look back on a decade of unforgettable films, we also look forward with great excitement and anticipation to the future of DEFF. We remain committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive community where filmmakers can thrive, share their voices, and continue to innovate. We are inspired by the diversity of perspectives and the courage of those who dare to tell stories in new and unconventional ways. We honor the remarkable individuals behind the camera—the visionaries, the dreamers, the storytellers—who pour their hearts into every frame.
This year, as we celebrate this milestone, we hope that DEFF continues to be a source of inspiration for those who create films and those who watch them. We are excited to award the most compelling and innovative films, recognizing the incredible talent that defines this festival. While many will be celebrated, only one will earn the title of Best of the Fest!
Thank you for your continued support as a part of the Down East Flick Fest community. Here’s to ten years of incredible films and many more years of storytelling that moves, challenges, and inspires us all.
Please stay connected with us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok as we continue to celebrate the art of filmmaking and the extraordinary artists behind it. We have some surprises in store.
