Sandra Shim’s The Vroomba of Doomba, animation short, wins best of the Fest 2019!

Congratulations to All Winners of DEFF 2019! Everyone who becomes an Official Selection has been painstakingly selected. To narrow the field even further was almost impossible. We have two third-place winners for Animation. The Founders Award is awarded for films that exemplify the spirit and ideals of the founders of DEFF who believe good films embody themes and artistry that linger long after the movie is over. This year we have included Community Impact Award, International Community Impact Award, and Student Filmmaker’s Awards. These designations are part of growing concerns and efforts that will drive programming throughout the coming year.
